In April Mark really blows your mind with the introduction of making your own products.
I have already made some of my own products but I freely admit I struggled.
Once I saw how Mark approaches the technicalities and thought processes of this phase of making money online it became far easier.
Producing your own products will earn you more money than affiliate marketing in the long run so it is worth gathering these skills even if it seems too much for you right now.

So by the end of month 3 if you started at the beginning you will have the certain knowledge of how to create, market and get affiliates to market your own product. Not bad eh?
By June (month 3) you probably deserve a break. It starts to get hot here in Spain and I expect Mark did too. However I did meet him for lunch and we discussed what he might do next.
The idea came to do a review of some of his students websites. See where they could be improved and this is the subject of the July videos.

In July, after a lot of thought, Mark put his mind to reviewing some websites that the members of Wordpress Goldmine had built.
In order to do so members submitted their websites and the codes to their Hostgator back office so Mark could do a thorough diagnosis.
The benefits to the site owners and to the members was enormous. As you can see someone else’s mistakes you can be more critical of your own websites. It really brings home to you how important the fine details of placement of the various elements of a website are. I am still waiting for my review Mark!
Because of the nature of internet marketing, a members only forum and the websites are in small niches I can’t give you that much detail but here is an overview of July’s Wordpress Goldmine videos.
July Step By Step
- Introduction and Overview of the Review Project
- Review 1 – a simple site and not much wrong with it, just some minor adjustments recommended.
- Review 2 – Lesson learnt here was …Check your links, if they are wrong you won’t make any money
- Review 3,4 and 5 – One old fashioned looking site but with good content, one with a broken link but otherwise good and an article site although better placement of Adsense ads was advised.
- Review 6 – Slightly cluttered website, not much work to make it better, excellent niche.
This is an ongoing project within Wordpress Goldmine.
So the July videos were very educational for the website owners and the members of the forum. It certainly beats struggling on your own and seeing little or no result for your effort.
